Mac: Make a Mavericks Installer Disk


  1. Download the Mavericks App from the App Store application
  2. Create a dirve with a partition of at least 7GB named 'Installer'.
  3. Open Terminal and run the following:
    sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Installer --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app --nointeraction
